The source code for Chia Blockchain 1.1.7 has just been released, with what appears to be a fix for wallet sync issues that people have been reporting on forums.
Fixed
Batch process weight proof epochs in groups of 900 to fit below May 2020 sqlite limit (999 for Python 3.7 on Windows). Fixes sqlite3.OperationalError: too many SQL variables error and resulting issues with syncing wallets on Windows.

As of this writing there is no executable installer, just a .zip file and with the warnings previously delivered it is advised to only download the official signed binaries for install if you are not 100% confident in what you are doing.

Reports are coming in that users are getting Smartscreen errors when attempting to install the binaries. Reddit user u/jadatmag has provided screenshots at the following thread of having both Edge and Windows block the new update.
This is concerning from a deployment process perspective, as it means updates are possibly being pushed too quickly to undergo the Smartscreen application review process. It is highly unlikely that the Chia Development team is publishing malware through their official updates, and this update has been officially discussed by the development team on keybase.
