I don’t know if you have been following German YouTuber Der8auer‘s experiment on farming Chia, but if not you should definitely check it out. This morning he has provided an update to his farming setup, and did some updates to his setup based on his experience.
He is using 3rd party plot manager software and is getting between 45 and 50 plots a day on his Threadripper system. Very impressive! This video was recorded back in may, and the price of XCH was around $1000 when he recorded the video. As of this writing the price has dropped since then and continued to fall to around 392 USD / XCH. He talks about this at the end of the video, and I think its something that we should all considered. He is very sympathetic to us who will never realize the investment put into this, and he definitely shares the community’s opinion on waiting for pools.
