After yesterday’s news of a Chia Fork Exchange launching called Forks.Green I had to check this out for myself. Yesterday Hendrik from my discord channel was able to successfully sell a Flax coin (1 XFX) and exit with almost 0.01 XCH. So I wanted to see if I could move some ChainGreen that I had lying around.
So to start I had to sync up my CGN Full node and wallet. That took the better part of a day. This is something that really needs to get fixed with the entire ecosystem. Not just the forks, but Chia itself. Takes too damn long to sync a wallet.
Once that was done (I had to update my software, delete my wallet DB and sync from scratch) I was ready to trade. So I transferred some CGN to the wallet address created on Forks.Green. That worked just great, and my deposit was there. From that point it was just a matter of trading. Or so I thought.

Forks.Green supports two distinct ChainGreen markets – a CGN/XCH and a CGN/XFX market. But there is no volume right now on either market, so I literally had to guess at prices. I left a limit sell order open on the CGN/XFX market for a few hours – nothing. So i cancelled that and created a limit sell order for XCH. Still nothing.
So that order is still sitting there open, and if anyone wants to go buy some CGN off me you can try anytime. I am going to spend the next couple days trying to make a number of trades here and see if they go through. I am starting to wonder if maybe Hendrik got lucky yesterday.
