Chia Network’s XCH coin has recently been listed on KuCoin, another major cryptocurrency exchange. According to a tweet from KuCoin, XCH is trading live against USDT (Tether) on this fairly major exchange. I have never used it, so I don’t know too much about it but it seems to be at least as trustworthy as any other options now, if not more so.
This will be sure to increase adoption of Chia and likely raise the price, or so I am told. If anyone executes any XCH/USDT trades there let me know how it goes and how painless exiting the exchange is.
Yes, I tried a small tx. Sold a little over 1/4 xch. The signup was straightforward. I wasn’t hassled about living in the U.S. and in WA State for that matter. Lots of verification via sms and 2fa (google authenticator) was needed. No kyc was demanded. I transferred that small pool payout of xch from my chia hot wallet to the kucoin wallet via the cli. I sold the xch and got usdt and transferred it to my coinbase usdt wallet. The small amount of cash is now on its way to my checking account. Everything worked.
Nice so it was a good experience then? Thats good to hear I think I will check it out.
The withdrawal fee for usdt over the erc-20 blockchain was steep for my small tx – 20 usdt. But erc-20 is all Coinbase supports. Not 100 percent sure but I believe that is a flat fee. Trading fee seemed neglible enough. All in all a good experience in that everything worked and was responsive. No hiccups. I won’t do it again though because I am a hodler waiting for an American exchange.
